Pets: Turk, Gryffin, Artemis, Vesper
Dr. Etter earned his Bachelor of Science and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana – Champaign. He went on to complete a one year small animal medicine and surgery internship in Albuquerque, New Mexico before arriving in Huntersville. Originally from southern New Hampshire, Dr. Etter has lived in Florida, Illinois, and even spent some time in New Zealand! His professional interests include diagnostic ultrasounds, dermatology, clinical pathology, and geriatric medicine.
While not at work, Dr. Etter enjoys traveling, movies, and hiking. His wife, Carrie, is also a veterinarian. They have two daughters at home who keep them very busy! They also have a chocolate lab, Turk; a lab mix , Gryffin; and two cats, Artemis and Vesper.
