Pets: Bowen, Bubba
Amanda is a Charlotte native who moved to Asheville in 2003.She began working as a veterinary assistant in 2008 and graduated from AB- Tech in Asheville, NC in 2010 with an Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology. She has worked in both small and large animal medicine. She relocated with her family back to Huntersville in 2011 and joined the Birkdale team in January 2012. While not working, Amanda enjoys spending time with her husband and daughter. Hiking, camping, and traveling (basically anything outdoors) are her favorite hobbies. They have a crazy yellow lab named Bowen, whose favorite toys are frisbees and socks! They also have a lion head rabbit named Bubba.
